Google “regimental tie” and those stripes are the first result. Nothing “modern” about them - they’ve been around for more than a 100 years

If only I had the money to go to Savile Row and get a few suits tailored just for me... I compensate with shoes - I must have 80 pairs or so. My latest binge - Timberland Boot Company Wodehouse. I have 3 pairs of chukkas and 2 pairs of Oxfords and I want more. I would have one of each color if they didn’t cost $275-$325 a pair.

Very true. I just don't get a chance to wear a suit too often, and I wear most of my shoes on regular bases

I only own 2 suits, one of which I got married in. The other one I purchased last year when I knew I would have six weddings to attend throughout the year. Picked up a navy Hugo Boss suit for $700 at Nordstrom’s Rack. It retailed for $1,200.

I love Hugo Boss stuff. Alas, I only have one shirt, but I’d love to get a suit. I have a few cheap Banana Republic ones, and one slightly nicer one by Calvin Klein. In all honesty, I can afford a really nice suit, I just don’t really need a really nice suit. I wear them to theater, job interviews, weddings and funerals, and other than theater, I don’t have many of the other occasions.
